Therapy for Individuals

Therapy with me is truly collaborative and shaped by what you want and need. Oftentimes, figuring out what you want, and need is part of the process. Individual therapy offers you the space to talk openly about what is on your mind and what’s going on in your life, safe in the knowledge that you won’t ever be judged for it.

Sometimes, we can know that something isn’t quite right but not know what it is.

Many of the patterns that shape our lives operate outside our awareness. It’s a bit like trying to edit your own writing, you can read the same sentence ten times and still miss what someone else immediately notices.

Therapy can offer that outside perspective, helping bring into awareness things that are difficult to see from the inside.

Trauma Trained I have extensive experience working with people who have experienced trauma in childhood or adulthood. It’s common for those considering therapy to worry that they’ll be expected to share painful or distressing experiences straight away. This is not something I will ever pressure you to do. Instead, we will begin by working together to build the skills and sense of safety you need. Only when you feel ready and supported will we begin to gently explore the experiences that have affected you.

Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy should adapt to you, not the other way around. I have extensive clinical and personal experience of the challenges that can come with being neurodivergent, and I understand what it can feel like to live in a world that wasn’t designed with you in mind. You may have received a diagnosis later in life, or perhaps you’re beginning to wonder whether you might be autistic or ADHD. I can support you in exploring the impact of a late diagnosis, as well as helping you uncover and recognise your needs as a neurodivergent person, including sensory needs or patterns that may have been difficult to identify or put into words. If you’re questioning whether you might be autistic or ADHD, we can explore that together with gentle curiosity.

Therapy for Trainee Counsellors & Psychotherapists

Training as a counsellor can be both exciting and demanding. Alongside developing clinical skills and theoretical knowledge, many trainees find the process brings up personal reflections about identity, relationships, and past experiences.

I offer a supportive space for trainee counsellors to explore their own process while navigating the emotional and practical challenges of training and early practice.

Couples and Relationship Therapy

Relationships can be deeply meaningful but also complex. Couples therapy offers a space to slow things down and explore what is happening between you, with the aim of improving understanding, communication, and connection.

Together we can explore patterns that may be leading to conflict, distance, or misunderstanding, and work towards ways of relating that feel more supportive for both partners. I recognise that every relationship is different, and therapy provides space to think about what works for you, rather than what relationships are “supposed” to look like.

Non-Monogamy & Polyamory

I offer an affirming space for people in consensually non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships. This might include working with couples who are considering opening their relationship, partners who are navigating the realities of non-monogamy, or polycules who would like support exploring dynamics within the group.

Therapy can provide space to think about communication, boundaries, expectations, and the emotional needs of everyone involved. My role is not to direct you towards or away from non-monogamy, but to support thoughtful and open exploration so that relationships can develop in ways that feel ethical, sustainable, and authentic for those involved.
